A place where time is stopping it's heartbeat

In our travels throughout time, we understand that there are places we want to see them for their cosmopolitan and often luxurious air to many known targets worth visiting. But there are places where you go rather to feel the spirit , which you choose because you want more than anything to feel like you're on vacation, you leave all your worries at home and that time flows slowly with locals.

Well you say hand on heart that Greece is among those destinations for my part . In Greece do not think you can simply visit Greece must fall in love to actually feel it as it is. Honestly ! I fell in love at first visit.

And because it is relatively difficult to choose which of the famous islands to arrives , I stopped two days in Athens first to enter the typical Greek atmosphere and then I opened the map and put your finger on "the most beautiful " island of Santorini ( Kalliste ) . Kalliste actually means most beautiful in Greek and is one of at least four names which are now attributed to the wonderful islands.

But to get there I have to say a few words about Athens. In addition to the modern part of the city and near well known attractions such as Pantenon , Acropolis, National Archaeological Museum , Museum of Cycladic Art , Byzantine Museum and Syntagma Square , so tried lately, it is said that the bulk of the Athenian spirit you will find Monastiraki Square and all the narrow streets that start from this place .

IN THE SAME POSITION FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO KNOW THE TRUE SPIRIT AND another district Greece THAT MUST NOT miss it : picturesque Plaka , the oldest part of the city . Full of old Greek houses , taverns , cafes and small shops, Plaka is a mix of colors, sounds and smells of traditional food delight you and make you feel authentic Greece .

And another tip: do not leave Athens without admiring a beautiful sunset from Lycabettus Hill , the highest point of the city. A specially arranged dinner in the restaurant here and a panoramic view over the city , absolutely lovely , is all you need to fall in love with you hopelessly Greece. If you manage to feel even less freedom Greek spirit , then it's time to start to Santorini.


One thing to keep in mind in Greece that you need to organize your trip well and do not leave that to them. After them , if you missed a bus, there's no hurry, it comes one if you missed a ferry , there's no hurry, it comes one day even if it ... Today does not go to the island catamaran wind . And when ? We do not know when the wind stops ... And so on . Therefore, make sure that you've done properly plan and a meaning to you and one back.
